Bio:

Imani Sullivan is member of Witnesses to Hunger and a mother of three who currently lives in Philadelphia, PA. A founding member of Witnesses to Hunger, Imani is a seasoned presenter and advocate whose activism explores issues of mental health, poverty, and housing in Philadelphia. She has spoken at multiple civic and community forums with the Philadelphia Department of Public Health and #WitnessesChat, and her work has been featured in CBS News, The Nation, the Washington Post, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and elsewhere. Recently, Imani, on invitation from Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney, has become a member of the Eviction Task Force, a focus group of Philadelphia citizens working to find solutions to unjust eviction practices and the rising rate of unaffordable housing in Philadelphia.
