Myra Young is member of Witnesses to Hunger, a seasoned Certified Nursing Assistant, and a mother of three who currently lives with her husband in Philadelphia, PA. A founding member of Witnesses to Hunger, Myra is a powerful writer and passionate activist whose work—which is based on her experiences as a survivor of abuse, homelessness, and unemployment—both advocates for and disrupts stereotypes surrounding working-class families in need of access to affordable food, housing, and healthcare.
